3. User Conduct

You are solely responsible for your conduct and any content you submit to the Service, including but not limited to advertisements ("ads"), messages, and profile information. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and truthful information in all submissions, including ads and communications.
• Use the Service in a respectful, lawful, and consensual manner, refraining from harassing, abusing, or exploiting other users.
• Not post, upload, or share content that is illegal, obscene, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, or otherwise harmful, including but not limited to explicit images without consent, hate speech, or fraudulent material.
• Protect your privacy and that of others by not disclosing exact personal locations (e.g., street addresses) in ads; only general city or area information may be shared via the map feature.
• Not use the Service for commercial purposes, solicitation (other than personal adult connections), or any form of spam.
• Not attempt to circumvent the Service’s security measures, including hacking, phishing, or distributing malware.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to investigate any reported or suspected violations and to take action, including but not limited to removing content, suspending accounts, or banning users, without prior notice or liability. You acknowledge that Meet Tonight UK is not responsible for policing user interactions but may intervene to ensure compliance with these Terms.

4. Payment Terms

To access contact details for an ad posted on Meet Tonight UK, you must pay a fee of 0.89 GBP via PayPal. Payments are processed securely and will appear as "ChatFriends" on your billing statement to ensure discretion. All payments are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law. Additional details on payment policies are available in our FAQ. We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time, with notice provided via the Service or email where feasible.

You agree not to initiate chargebacks or disputes unless you believe in good faith that a payment was processed in error. Fraudulent payment activity may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

5. Ad Posting and Expiration

Posting an ad on Meet Tonight UK is free of charge. To post, you must select a town or area on the map and complete the submission form accurately. Ads are live for a maximum of 5 hours from the time of posting and cannot be edited once submitted. It is your responsibility to review all details prior to submission. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or modify any ad that violates these Terms, contains inaccurate information, or is deemed inappropriate, without prior notice or refund of any associated fees (e.g., for contact unlocks). Expired ads are automatically removed from the Service and cannot be reinstated.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Meet Tonight UK, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, maps, and software, are the exclusive property of Meet Tonight UK or its licensors and are protected by United Kingdom and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for personal purposes only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our express written consent.

Content you submit (e.g., ads) remains your property, but by posting it, you grant Meet Tonight UK a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, display, and store it as necessary to operate the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

Meet Tonight UK provides the Service on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to losses from interactions with other users, data breaches, or service interruptions. Our total liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the preceding 12 months. You use the Service at your own risk and are solely responsible for verifying the identity and intentions of other users.

8. Termination

Upon termination, all your ads and account data may be deleted, and no refunds will be provided for any payments made. You may terminate your use of the Service at any time by ceasing to access it; however, these Terms will continue to apply to prior actions.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and your use of the Service are governed exclusively by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. You agree to waive any objections to venue or jurisdiction in such courts.
